Tinsley's lecture will be followed by a world premiere performance by the Fuzion Dance Artists and Francis Schwartz, an internationally recognized composer, of a piece inspired by the exhibition "The Lost Voices of Darfur"

A consciousness-raising lecture, which will address the genocide in Darfur, from Tinsley's perspective as an activist, humanitarian, and leader in the human rights field. She will discuss the history of the region and how patterns of genocide begin and escalate, as well as the contents of the exhibit, which will be opening that evening and will continue through the end of February.
